On June 5, 2025, Chic Dambach delivered a talk to the Peace Committee of the District 5450 of the Rotary International Club. While District 5450 is based in Denver, Colorado, USA, the Peace Committee is an electronic network of Rotarians around the world concerned with global peace. The title of Chic’s talk was “Build a Culture of Peace”. The talk, with its Q&A, lasted approximately one hour. Readers of the Peacebuilder Update have indicated their desire to hear directly from the honoree of the Dambach Fellowship, Chic Dambach, about his life of service and what he thinks is the state of peacebuilding around the world today. In early January 2025, Jim Troxel of the Dambach Fellowship Founders’ Council interviewed Chic, who shared his journey towards peacebuilding.

The Dambach Fellowship Founders’ Council is pleased to introduce Ms. Stephanie Hassan, from Nigeria, as the second recipient of the Dambach Peacebuilder Fellowship which will support her journey towards a graduate degree from the School of Global Studies at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Here is a 27 minute video interview the Dambach Fellowship Founders’ Council had with her in September, 2024, where she tells about her story and why she decided to attend Oklahoma State University.

Dr. Sherry Lee Mueller, co-leader of the Public Diplomacy Council of America, provides an introduction to the concept of “Citizen Diplomacy” at Oklahoma State University School of Global Studies on March 13, 2024.

Mr. Victor Ochen is the founder and Executive Director for African Youth Initiative Network and also serves as a member of Advisory Group to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. In February 2024 he was interviewed by Chic Dambach on how to reduce violence in Africa.

…was produced by the Council for prospective donors and friends of the Fellowship and of Chic himself. It goes into Chic’s career and then explains why OSU was chosen to house the Fellowship. This video is a great place to get an overview of the fellowship. Summer 2022. 16 minutes.

…encapsulates the event where the Dambach Fellowship was made public. It features the OSU Provost, Dr. Jeanette Mendez and the Dean of OSU Global, Dr. Randy Kluver.
